So here we are taking Conductance up the Welland Canal. They are calling for rain!! Please pray to the Sun Gods!!!
Prayers answered!!! What started out as a thunderstorm with lightning turned out to be a beautiful hot day.
Brian and Joe helped Scott uplock through the Welland Canal with Olivia and Evan as first mates. Each lock proved to be a bit more challenging for ropes but the comments regarding Lock 6 were that it was the most turbulent and tough going. It is the second of the flight locks located in Thorold, Ontario. The 3 flight locks are very tall climbing the Niagara Escarpment. Pictures to follow once they are uploaded.
Conductance now sits at Sugarloaf Marina waiting for dock upgrades and removal of electronics on her hardtop before she can sit in our backyard. Low bridges force Scott to remove those.
