{"id":119,"date":"2011-07-27T11:20:26","date_gmt":"2011-07-27T11:20:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lapointes.ca\/blog\/?p=119"},"modified":"2012-02-02T20:40:51","modified_gmt":"2012-02-02T20:40:51","slug":"adventures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.lapointes.ca\/blog\/adventures\/","title":{"rendered":"Adventures&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This past weekend we found ourselves at a little gem of a place in Lockport, NY.<\/p>\n<p>Along the New York Canal System there are 57 locks that carry you from Albany to Tonawanda that both lock up and lock down.<\/p>\n<p>At locks 34 and 35 you will find Lockport, NY.\u00a0 This is where the two locks climb the escarpment.\u00a0 We found a little cove right beside lock 35 and stayed there for the night.\u00a0 We were able to top up our water supply, enjoy breakfast and the sights rich in history.\u00a0 We stayed for just one night and hoped that we would share this spot once again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This past weekend we found ourselves at a little gem of a place in Lockport, NY.
