We made good time and did 10 \u00a0locks. \u00a0We are nestled in at the top of the lock in Jones Falls waiting for the first \u00a0lock through tomorrow morning. \u00a0Quiet here with just a few boats and \u00a0set between cliffs. \u00a0Too bad for predicted rain because the stars would be glorious tonight.<\/p>\n
Aiden went fishing, swimming and hiking already. \u00a0This area is rich in the history of the Rideau with lock master houses, blacksmith shop and settler areas. \u00a0I even had a cast or two. \u00a0The fish here are very social. \u00a0When swimming they will come up to you and watch. \u00a0I don’t mean just a few either. \u00a0There are hundreds that are curious and come to watch you. \u00a0You can \u00a0hand feed them. \u00a0They are just rock bass, but still a cute treat.<\/p>\n
We are having an issue with one of the toilets so we are hoping to head to Kingston to get parts. \u00a0Scott is not looking forward to this repair. \u00a0In the past he said that this would be one job he would hire out for but that is not an option at this point. \u00a0So he is hoping it is the easier repair that he thinks will fix the flush problem. \u00a0You know what they say…. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0It happens.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_1_placeholder\n
